Insurance coverage for MNT has very specific diagnosis requirements and thus is very limited. These visits can be held in-person or virtually and are quite reasonably priced compared to similar services in the area. The self-pay rate is $75 for an initial consult and $50 for a follow-up appointment. Medical Nutrition Therapy is a well-established form of medical therapy offered by Orthopedic ONE through a self-pay program. Nutrition is becoming a hot topic these days, and with so much misinformation out there it is hard to know what is true! Registered Dietitians are trained as experts in all things food, and can guide you to reach your goals and obtain optimum performance based on your lifestyle. What we eat and when we eat it can enhance performance and recovery. MNT accounts for the specific needs of each person based on their sport and activity level. Proper nutrition provides the energy to perform and supports recovery and micronutrient needs. MNT is important for sport, as food is fuel for success. Megan will provide individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients in our clinics, and to the athletes, families, and clubs we serve through our Sports Medicine Outreach program.
